Eating at Disney: 4 of the best Signature Dining options

Eating at Disney is one of my favorite Disney for adults activities. There are so many good options from their Quick-Service to Table-Service options, but my favorites are their Signature Dining options. These are their nicer restaurants which have amazing food and ambiance.

While there are so many fun things to do at Disney as an adult like taking a Disney Monorail Pub Crawl to spending some time visiting the hotel pools at that other theme park, one of my favorite activities is eating at Disney!

I’m going to break down some of my favorites:

1. Narcoossees at the Grand Floridan, “Coastal Cuisine”

Hot take: Love the food, love the location. If you want some surf and turf, come here. Their steak and seafood are delicious.

Celebratory, complimentary drinks!

Plan your reservation over Magic Kingdom’s firework display. Narcoosees perfectly times your food, so you can go out onto their deck overlooking the water and watch the show. They play the music from the fireworks through the speakers out on the deck. Since Narcoosees is on the water, you also get a great view of the boat parade after the firework show.

2. Victoria and Albert’s at the Grand Floridian, “Contemporary Dining, Timeless Elegance”

Hot take: This place is so fancy they gave me a menu to pick out my water! Incredible experience and incredibly expensive

Take home “goodie bag”

Back before having kids, before daycare expense, etc. we decided to do what we call “blowtorch some money.” This is easy to do at Victoria and Albert’s. This eight-course food journey is really one of a kind. The food, the service, all of it is at another level. And that level will cost you. Was it worth it? Totally! Will we do it again? Nope! Somethings are meant for a one-time experience. This is one of those.

Be sure to leave plenty of time for dinner. You will need it, and pay attention to the dress code (men most wear a dinner jacket and dress coat).

3. California Grill at the Contemporary, “Flavors of the Pacific Coast”

Hot take: This place is busy, but with that view and that food, I don’t think anyone would be surprised.

Enjoying dessert!

Located on the 15th floor of the Contemporary, overlooking the lagoon and the Magic Kingdom you truly feel you are in the most magical place on earth. Scheduling your reservation during fireworks is an absolute must! They, like Narcosees, are experts in timing your food perfectly around fireworks. Before they start, people will head outside to their large balcony to watch the show.

I love the salmon here, but you can’t go wrong with any of the selections. Enjoy!

4. Tiffins Restaurant at Animal Kingdom, “A World of Flavors”

Hot take: Come here and try something new. The spices they use on their food are incredible and are sure to transport you to another country for a few hours.

Tiffins gives you the opportunity to taste something different while at Disney World. I know you aren’t necessarily eating the same exact thing every day, but you probably aren’t eating something different. Tiffins gives you selections outside of your typical Signature Dining menu.

And there you have it. Those are my favorite Signature Dining spots. Do you enjoy eating at Disney? Have your own favorite places? Please, reach out and let us know.
